The products on my woodcommerce pages are not opening in the fancybox, even though other images on the site are working properly. Please help!

    Example:

Elowah Falls – Large Framed Print

    Thank you,
    Brian

Hi Brian, yes Woocommerce is a special case and it also (largely) depends on the theme. In your case The7 which embeds the image with a magnifying glass icon. This icon is not linked to the full size image version but instead is meant to be treated by a theme script which in turn takes care of loading the full size media file into a light box.

Sadly, it will not be possible to make Easy FancyBox (nor the Pro extension) to take over this functionality. It would need a fully customized plugin or a theme modification to replace the standard light box.

You’ll either need to keep both lightboxes activated on your site, or find a way to use the other light box for all cases. Sorry about that.

If this means you have no use for the Easy FancyBox plugin any more, please let me know and I can send you a refund.

Refund? Are you kidding? I’d ditch WooCommerce before I ditched your Fancybox! 🙂

I’m going to talk to the theme authors and see if they can disable their script.

I’m afraid that disabling the light box (if possible) will not make FancyBox suddenly work on the product images. A larger theme mod is needed for that…

    I understand. Thank you.
